Simple Cloning Lab plasmid vector pGT4

The sequence of pGT4

pGT4 (pGeneTech vector, originally clone number 4) is a high-copy plasmid of 3793 basepairs. It has 2 antibiotic resistance genes, and unique restriction sites for BamHI and EcoRI (and a number of other restriction enzymes).

Note:
pGT4 is a derivative of pUC18: the tetracycline resistance gene from (the low-copy plasmid) pBR322 is inserted between the Nde I and EcoR I sites of pUC18.
