The Hirschfeldia incana Web Portal is an online resource for Hirschfeldia incana genomics.

Hirschfeldia incana or Hoary Mustard is a member of the Brassicaceae plant family. A remarkable property of this species, and the main reason to study it, is that this species exhibits a very high rate of photosynthesis. The goal of this web server is to provide comparative genomics resources to study photosynthesis in Hirschfeldia incana.

Research Team
The Hirschfeldia genome is studied as part of a collaboration between various research groups at Wageningen University. The following people are involved in the sequencing, assembly, annotation of the H. incana genome and the comparative genomics:
Bioinformatics: Raúl Wijfjes, Rens Holmer, Sandra Smit, Dick de Ridder
Genetics: Francesco Garassino, René Boesten, Frank Becker, Mark Aarts
Biophysics: Jeremy Harbinson
Biosystematics: Eric Schranz
